Most of the pictures I have taken in Wisconsin are of wildlife as opposed to landscapes. The reasons are simple, the “northwoods” where we lived is dense forest, keeping the field of view fairly short. Another reason is the abundance of wildlife in the Minocqua area where we lived. You will notice in particular a lot of pictures of what I call “deer faces” where I was attempting to capture the wild and deep beauty in their eyes. You will probably also notice more than a few pictures of turkeys. I find them endlessly fascinating almost to the point of it being a little bit weird. Sure, I’ll own that.
