As an aside, the dot of light above the horses is Jupiter, it was as bright as I’ve ever seen it, and just behind the trailer, a nearly full moon was rising. We bought some farmers cheese (a soft, creamy white cheese much like mozzarella) at our next stop and made an amazing Caprese salad. What they called a “large devastating tornado” went just to the north of us, destroying a bunch of stuff. It was eerie. But I also know we are more than capable of horrible, ugly things. It has the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with the max tow package, giving it a towing capacity of 13,000 lbs., about twice what we are pulling. I initially wanted the V8 being the old gearhead I am, but they were few and far between, so I researched and am convinced this is a great engine. It puts out 375HP, with 400 lb. ft. of torque. For something that weighs 5500 lbs., it is very quick (not so much when pulling 7500 lbs). The Trailer is a 2022 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB. As the model number implies, it is 26 ft. long, not including the tongue, which adds another three feet. It weighs 5795 lbs. empty and about 7900 lbs. fully loaded. It has a solar panel for power and a little super quiet generator for backup.
